As a child, we all dreamt of becoming a Zoo Keeper when we grew up! Hanging out with all the wonderful animals all day would have been the coolest job! Even though some of us didn’t follow through on our zoo vocation, Territory Wildlife Park are playing host to a fantastic opportunity for our animal loving kids and possible future Zoo Keepers!
From Monday 2nd October to Friday 6th October during term break, you can send the young ones off to take part in the Territory Wildlife Park Keeper Kids Program for a hands-on day at the zoo! They are guaranteed a fun and interesting day, as they learn all about what is involved in being a Zoo Keeper at the Top End’s hottest animal spot!
Hosted by a dedicated team of guides and keepers, the kids will learn everything from their daily routines to which specific foods each animal eats, and with granted behind the scenes access, they will get to live out their wildest dreams (pun intended) with the native animals of our beloved Territory! Now, as cool as our jobs are, a few of us here at the Ray White Bayside Office are a bit jealous and wondering when the adults will get their chance to experience a day in the life of a Zoo Keeper!
Keeper Kids Programs will suit children between the ages of 8 and 12, and sessions will commence each day that week at 9am and finish at 3.30pm – just like a normal school day. Bookings are essential and are selling out fast so be sure to book your child’s spot for just $115! For more information and to secure a spot, please visit http://www.territorywildlifepark.com.au.
