Eat, Drink and Be Irish at SKYCITY Darwin!

By Tiffany Carr

Yes!  St Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and there’s one place you absolutely need to be, if you want to do as the Irish do and eat, drink and be merry!  SKYCITY is where it’s going to be happening on Friday 16th – Saturday 17th March.  The event is appropriately called, ‘Paddy Hard!’ and here you’ll have the opportunity to get your party on Irish-style!  It’s all kicking off at Darwin’s coolest (and only) casino, from 4pm on the Friday and from 12 noon on the Saturday at the Beachside Pavilion.

Entry is absolutely free, so get ready for some seriously fun, live entertainment thanks to the awesome line up of local musicians who will be performing traditional, folk and contemporary Irish music.  To really put icing on the cake, the Keltikka Irish Dancers will be performing their amazing tap dancing routines which are sure to simply get you wanting to join in!

Can’t dance?  No problem at all!  The Paddy Hard mob has it covered, thanks to the traditional Irish dance Keltikka dance workshop which will be happening on Saturday.  You won’t just walk out of this event with a belly full of scrumptious Irish cuisine and beverages…but you’ll also have gained for yourself a few fantastic Irish dance moves that you can impress your mates with, next time you gather for a shindig!

That’s sure to come in handy here at the Ray White Bayside office, where quite a few of us feel like busting out a move whenever we secure a buyer for a vendor or a new listing we’ve had our eye on for some time!

So, join us in finding our best green get up for the greenest day of the year!  Oh and there’s even a Best Dressed Competition you can be a part of.  And for the ginger nuts amongst us, you can celebrate your hairy redness as part of the Red Head Competition!  Being a redhead has never been so much fun!

You’ll get the chance to win an insane 4.5 litre bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey and cradle, every time you buy a dram of Jameson Caskmates Whiskey.

So, bring yourself, your mates and your kids (it’s an all ages event up until 9pm on both nights, after which it becomes 18+), so save the date and see you there!
