It’s mango season once again and like every year, everybody’s going mad for them! This year though, you need to get yourself and the gang along to Berry Springs Mango Festival, which will be held on Sunday 29th October from 8am – 3pm. It’s going to be a festival like no other, with a full day of complete mango madness! Sound like something you’d be into? Then read on!
With lots of crazy mango activities and competitions, the day is set to be a scream for the entire family! Take part in the mango eating competition, the mango and spoon race, the mango shot put, mango bin tossing, guess the weight, guess how many mangoes are in the tub…you name it, you can do it with mangos on this day! Only in the Top End, hey?
Aside from mangoes, there will also be live music, a fantastic dance display by the Liberty of Academy of Dance and plenty of food and market stalls. Not forgetting all the mangoes you can get your hands on too! The date is in the Ray White Bayside’s team diary – it sounds like so much fun and we absolutely cannot wait to get our mango madness on!
Entry into the festival is free and will be held at the picturesque Berry Springs Recreation Reserve. You are encouraged to wear orange and bring along your unique recipes on the day – you never know what competitions you can win!
