Get ready to glam up at the CareFlight 30th Anniversary Gala Ball

By Korgan Hucent

Now we may live in the relaxed and laid back tropical city of Darwin where we can get away with wearing rubber thongs and a singlet far more than our southern counterparts…but that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy glamming up every now and again.  And this year, thanks to the wonderful organisation that is CareFlight, locals and visitors to Darwin have their chance to throw on a suit or ball gown and really enjoy the finer side of life.

It’s all thanks to the CareFlight 30th Anniversary Gala Ball, which will be held on Saturday 3rd September at the CareFlight Hangar at Darwin Airport.  This very special and very exciting event will kick off at 6.30pm and runs right through until midnight.

Dress is strictly black tie (absolutely no singlets or rubber thongs for this one!), and on the night you can expect to enjoy:

  • Delightful fine foods and wines
  • Incredible entertainment
  • Fabulous prizes
  • A great atmosphere celebrating the wonderful work of CareFlight since the organisation was founded back in 1986

Each table at the event will seat 8 people, and tickets are $250 per person, with corporate sponsorship tables available.  You can purchase your tickets today by visiting: www.sticktickets.com.au/39631 and for further information, please don’t hesitate to contact Janine Birch on 08 8928 9713.

Ray White Bayside gives this gala event a huge thumbs up, so if glamming up for a good cause is your thing, this one is certainly worth checking out!
