Experience true Greek cuisine in an amazing setting right here in Darwin!

By Korgan Hucent

It’s all thanks to this fabulous Darwin treasure called Manoli’s Greek Taverna, located at Shop 4, 64 Smith Street in the Darwin CBD.  Amongst the team here at Ray White Bayside, this amazing restaurant is a favourite and every amazing Greek dish you can think of, is created with passion, love and fresh produce at Manoli’s!

Finding a really great place to eat can be quite difficult, particularly if you’re after a restaurant that caters for both lunch and dinner, but Manoli’s has you covered.  Lunch is served from 11.30am until 2pm Tuesday to Friday, and dinner from 6pm until late from Tuesday to Saturday.

Head Chef Manolis Papathomas is committed to delivering fantastic and fresh food, using traditional cooking techniques that have been passed down through the generations.  Sharing is what really makes the experience at Manoli’s what it is, and sharing Mezethes (small plates) is an old, very established Greek tradition that diners at Manoli’s participate in.  As dishes are cooked, they are delivered to the table for everybody to share.

The atmosphere at Manoli’s is always really friendly and inviting, and even more so on Fridays and Saturdays with the upbeat and lively Greek live entertainment.  Vasili Koufos plays the traditional Greek musical instrument, the Bouzouki and with his entertaining experience and amazing personality, he brings the room to life.  You literally forget that you’re in Darwin, and feel like you’re actually in Greece!

Manoli’s also hosts well-known Greek singers and holds special ticketed events for these occasions.  Further to this, if you wish to host your event at Manoli’s, they can take care of your event and source amazing Greek entertainers to really make it special.

So whether you’re looking for a nice place to eat out, or you’d after some delicious Greek takeaway for lunch or dinner, we recommend Manoli’s Greek Taverna!  For more information, you can visit the official website at:
