On 5-6 September, the Inaugural Darwin Boat, Travel and Leisure Show will kick off at the Darwin Convention Centre, and in case you were wondering, that is on Father’s Day weekend. Dads around Darwin will no doubt be excited by this news of this exciting event, which is the result of a partnership between the Darwin Game Fishing Club and Northern Territory Government.
The show will exhibit a huge range of displays relating to fishing, travel and outdoors. From caravans and campers, through to camping equipment and boats, whether you like to travel in luxury or prefer to rough it somewhat, you’re sure to enjoy yourself on the day. Walk through the latest caravans and tents to hit the market, and climb aboard some or all of the many boats that will be on display.
In true exhibition style as well, you’ll find a fabulous selection of special offers and a host of competitions to enter on the day, so you might get lucky with a competition draw!
For anglers, there will be booths providing a range of boating and angling information, so you may even discover a few new fishing spots or two worth checking out.
The event is suitable for all ages, with tickets at $12/adult and $9 for concession card holders. Children aged 5-15 years are $5/ticket, however family passes are available at $30, for two adults, and up to four children aged 5-15 years.
