We love free family fun here in the Top End…so Tracy Village is the place to go on Sunday 28th May!

By Korgan Hucent

That’s right, it’s definitely the place to be on that day because each year, Tracy Village Social and Sports Club host a mini festival for the whole family! Oh, and it’s free! From 10am on Sunday 28th May, Tracy Village Family Fun Day will begin with heaps of activities and entertainment to suit everybody.

While the kids are off visiting Yenz to have their faces painted, or dancing with Jilly the Fairy Entertainer, us adults can be enjoying the live entertainment, food and beverage specials, and wine tasting sessions! That sounds perfect to some of us wine-o’s here at the Ray White Bayside, and maybe it’s your thing too?

There will be entertainment from Casuarina Timezone, Sand Cards NT and two jumping castles – 1 dry and 1 wet!  How fun does this sound, knowing that the rest of the country is whipping on the winter woollies and cranking up the heating?!  So, don’t forget to bring the kids’ bathers and a towel! DJ Kev will be spinning some classics on his decks too, and keeping the young ones entertained with lots of party games and prizes.

Representatives from Red Nose charity SIDS & Kids will be sizzling sausages as part of their sausage sizzle and hosting a Monster Raffle – with all proceeds going to SIDS & Kids. (For those of you who don’t already know, Red Nose is a charity that aims to eradicate sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)).

It really is going to be a great day out! So, head down to Tracy Village in Lyons on Sunday 28th May any time after 10am. This is what Dry Season is all about!
