Watch Nightcliff Really Come Alive at the Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival!

By Korgan Hucent
It’s the closest thing Nightcliff has to a week-long street party and we call it the Nightcliff Seabreeze Festival. Kicking off from 7th May and running right up until the 15th May, the festival is sure to attract plenty of visitors, both local to Darwin and from afar. The event takes place right on the esplanade at Nightcliff by the sea, so you can be sure of taking in a breathtaking view!
With a history dating back to 2005 when the inaugural festival was held, Seabreeze is a volunteer-run festival and brings together art, music and culture. Artists, small businesses and community organisations join force to put on a week-long festival, and over the years the event has grown to become an incorporated, non-profit organisation known as Nightcliff Arts, Music and Culture Incorporated (NAMCI).
For the week, there will be a huge line up of performances by local artists and plenty of stalls for you to check out. Groups performing on the dance stage this year will include Kormilda College, Darwin School of Ballet, MacKillop College Dance, Prue Gymnastics, Top End Mustang and plenty more!
A huge array of food will also be available for you to sample and enjoy, and there will also be plenty of interactive activities for you to get involved in!
The event is 100% family friendly, and there certainly is something for everybody! So make sure you make a time to check this festival out for yourself! For the team here at Ray White Bayside real estate, we love being a part of the festival and there’s always something different each year to really enjoy!
