Walk to Fight Animal Cruelty this Sunday 15th May!

By Korgan Hucent

That’s right, we’re talking about the RSPCA Million Paws Walk 2016 and it kicks off at 9am sharp at Jingili Water Gardens! This massively huge event will commence when none other than Scooby Doo skydives into the gardens to start the walk! That’s all made possible by the lovely people at Top End Tandems.

The Million Paws Walk is the must-go event for all dog owners and their canine buddies, with a host of entertainment, roaming photographers, stalls, giveaways and heaps more activities to keep everybody engaged and most of all, having fun to support a really worthy cause. RSPCA Darwin animals will be the big winners on the day, with all proceeds going to help animals in need. The event objective is to raise $55,000 to help RSPCA help more animals! And when you help the RSPCA, you could be in the running for some amazing prizes! The highest fundraising individual will win a once-in-a-lifetime Outback Floatplane Adventure, and framed sunset photograph by the man of the moment here at Ray White Bayside real estate, Paul Arnold! Every $3,000 raised by an individual or team will receive 2 tickets to the Save the Paw Ball later this year – another fabulously exciting and fun event, to raise funds for RSPCA!

The prizes don’t stop there either, with the highest fundraising team winning a sunset cruise for 10 people on the Spirit of Darwin. There’s also plenty of Hill’s Science Diet food packs to be won! So want to get involved? Register online now via the event page at: http://www.millionpawswalk.com.au/Northern_Territory.htm Registrations open at 8am on the day, but be sure to register online first! Registrations are $15 per adult, $8 per child, $35 for a family of two adults and up to four children and $100 for a team of 10. Enjoy! And don’t forget to bring your canine friends or pack!
