Think Your ‘Get Fit’ New Year’s Resolution is a Lost Cause in the Wet Season? Well Think Again!

By Korgan Hucent

Free and low cost activities are currently happening in Darwin to help you fit and healthy just in time for the dry season! The wet season program runs from October right up until March. It’s all bought to you by City of Darwin and its Healthy Darwin ActiveLife@TheTop Program!

Some of the activities on offer are group classes, cycling, gardening, tai chi, swimming and also on offer are some workshops and information sessions that will help you learn more about what it takes to stay healthy in your body, mind and soul. With the new year only in its infancy, now is the best time to take control of your own health!
You will also benefit from the social aspect of the activities because inevitably you will get to meet new people and socialise while working out. There are many different local businesses and groups on board with our plan for community well-being, so no matter what age, gender, fitness level or your personal interests we will have something for you.
Visit the webpage for calendar of events and more information at http://www.darwin.nt.gov.au/media-centre/news/get-active.
Here at Ray white Bayside real estate, we would love to see a healthier community so why not get involved? This just might be the thing missing in your life!
