The Potato Man’s ready to sort out your Sunday!

By Korgan Hucent

For the past 29 years, The Potato Man has brought us the finest spuds in the Top End! He’s had his spot on the Nightcliff Foreshore every Sunday for as long as some of us can remember – serving up his famous baked potatoes as we kick back and enjoy the famous Darwin sunsets over the Timor Sea.

The Potato Man is there every weekend and he’s well renowned for the size of his spuds and his wide range of delicious toppings! It’s the perfect Sunday dinner time treat – who wants to cook on a Sunday anyway!? Not us here at Ray White Bayside Real Estate!  Sunday afternoons and evenings are best spent down at the foreshore, taking in our world-class sunsets and the relaxed atmosphere that Darwin is proud of!

Although still on the foreshore, the Potato Man has a new spot, just out the front of Nightcliff Pool, from 5 – 7.30pm every Sunday. What better way to end the weekend and start a new week? A delicious baked potato, a cold drink and a beautiful sunset that makes living here in the Top End even more special.

Of course, come April, The Potato Man will have his usual spot at the Mindil Sunset Markets, but we really can’t wait that long for one! See you down the Foreshore and you’ll understand for yourself why The Potato Man spuds must be experienced for themselves!
