School Holiday Fun for Everybody Right Here in Darwin!
The festive season may be over but we still have to keep the nippers entertained for another few weeks until school starts again. Luckily for us here in the Top End, the local council have arranged plenty of free activities to keep them occupied.
Down at Darwin Waterfront, there is all sorts of school holiday fun and fit activities, including kid’s yoga and water tag – something that most of us here at Ray White Bayside Real Etstate would happily play! It’s the perfect way for them to cool off in the wet season heat (and sure to wear them out for the rest of the day)!
There are also arts and crafts sessions with Mis Yenz and circus workshops too, where the young ones can learn how to make balloon animals and juggle – a super fun workshop aimed at building both strength and coordination skills!
All school holiday activities are free and don’t require bookings. So, get the kids out the house and head to Darwin Waterfront where there is a different activity every weekday from 10am, all the way up until Friday 27th January. All activities are primarily targeted at kids aged 5 – 12 years.
As with all outdoor activities here in the Top End, parents are asked to be sun-smart and come prepared with water, a hat and of course, sun protection for your little ones. But don’t worry mums and dads, you’ve not been forgotten! That’s because shade will be provided for you guys too whilst they’re off having fun.
