The man himself will be joining us at Darwin Wave Lagoon on Sunday 11th and 18th December for the annual Santa Fest! And although it will be as hot as anything, we’ve had word here at Ray White Bayside real estate that Santa will remain ‘sun smart’ and wear his suit during his wave pool appearances. Good idea Santa!
The day will be full of festive fun for the whole family. There’s going to be a disco party, dance competitions, Christmas crafts, prizes up for grabs, treats from Santa and not forgetting those exhilarating waves too!
This is a once a year event and better still, normal entry fees apply to the Wave Lagoon on the day. It’s the perfect occasion to get the family in the Christmas spirit!
As with all Top End outdoor events, we do encourage you to be sun smart – like Santa. Well, maybe not like Santa – no need to come in your Santa suits – but wear sunscreen, a hat and keep hydrated throughout the day. Shaded areas are also available.
If you don’t feel like getting wet at the Wave Lagoon, then don’t worry! That’s because Santa will be making appearances at the many fantastic Waterfront restaurants and cafes too. You’ll be spoilt for choice as well when it comes to places to eat, because the Waterfront really does have it all!
So, head down to the Waterfront between 11am and 2pm, and let’s show Santa how we do Chrissy, Darwin style!
