Well, it’s not as bad as those dreams you have when you are sans clothing altogether in public, but guess what? A day is coming up later this month where you can actually wear PJ’s to work…and get away with it! And no, you don’t even need to be a banana (cue the Banana’s in Pajamas theme song – it’s in your head now isn’t it? Sorry!).
The Ray White Bayside team can definitely get on board with an event that allows the wearing of pyjamas to work. Luckily there happens to be an event of that nature on the horizon! National Pyjama Day falls on Friday 21st July and the aim is to raise much needed funds for the Pyjama Foundation.
The Pyjama Foundation is a magical charity that supports dreams of children living in foster homes. Through the efforts of volunteers, or Pyjama Angels as they are known, the foster children are provided with learning-based activities. Simple gestures such as homework assistance and educational games all aid in helping the children to have the best chance that they can in life. More importantly, it is an opportunity to show the children that they are loved and valued.
By wearing your favourite PJ’s or onesie to work or school on the 21st July, you are helping to create awareness for this much-needed charity. Why not get the whole office involved and organise donations? Maybe the most outrageous PJ’s wins the arvo off perhaps?! It’s just an idea!
So, to get onboard with the fun, register for the event today to receive your free Pyjama Day kit at www.nationalpyjamaday.com
