As hard to believe as it is, December is now here and the year almost finished. That said, the year won’t be finished until Christmas and that, for many of our team and client families here at Ray White Bayside real estate, means attending at least one Carols by Candlelight.
This year’s Darwin Carols by Candlelight will be held on Sunday 6th December at The George Brown Botanic Gardens Amphitheatre, Gardens Road, The Gardens. If the weather so far is anything to go by, it’s set to be a dry and clear night, conducive to good times and loads of festive-inspired singing.
Speaking of singing, performing at the event will be the Army Band, with vocals performed by the Darwin Youth Choir and Darwin Chorale, just to name a few.
On the day, gates will open at 4.30pm, allowing you to secure a really good spot before the singing kicks off at 6.30pm. The show is set to go for two hours, and will conclude with a firework finale at 8.30pm. You’ll have to have your phone camera ready for that one!
Ample parking is available at Mindil Beach, but it’s recommended you get there early, as spots will no doubt quickly fill. Refreshments will be on sale at the event, along with carol books and battery-operated candles – no more painful wax burns!
As a charity fundraiser, entry is a simple gold coin donation, so be sure to save the date and prepare to exercise those vocal chords.
