Have you checked out Darwin’s oldest market yet?

What market is just 20 minutes from the city, about 15 minutes from our office here at Ray White Bayside real estate and located in the centre of Darwin’s northern suburbs?  Held on Sunday’s the Rapid Creek Sunday Markets are in fact the city’s oldest markets and support around 60 or so small local businesses.

Conveniently located at the Rapid Creek Village on Trower Road in Rapid Creek, these markets are hugely popular in particular because of the fresh produce. At Rapid Creek Sunday Markets, it is all about the food and even the most dedicated would-be chef and foodie would be delighted at the range when it comes to produce.  Fresh green leafy vegetables of every kind imaginable, lemongrass, coriander, fresh ginger, tumeric, limes, pomelos, lemons – you name it.  Fruit and vegetables you’ve heard of, and loads more you perhaps didn’t even know existed.

The fresh produce stalls bring the farm to you, and in addition, you’ll also find the much-loved food vans that you’ll see at the other fantastic markets around Darwin.  Eat up and enjoy!  Get inspired by the culinary delights you can create in your own kitchen, and get advice from those at the markets on how to get the most out of your produce.
