Girls! It’s time to get down and dirty for a great cause…and be a part of Miss Muddy 2016!

By Korgan Hucent

Imagine…a female only obstacle and mud festival, featuring a course up to 5km long for participants aged 13 years and over?  Well it’s actually real and it’s called Miss Muddy!  From mud, colour, climbing and crawling, to slipping, sliding and of course, loads of laughter, Miss Muddy is an un-timed obstacle course that’s all about supporting women in an environment that is fun, non-threatening and of course, muddy as anything!

The event happens right across Australia and raises vital funds for the McGrath Foundation, which is dedicated to placing McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right around the country.  And this year with every $50 of funds raised through your personal Miss Muddy Go Fundraise page, you will go into the draw to win a brand new Suzuki Vitara!

Marketed as the ultimate ‘Girls Dirty Day Out’ the event will help raise the $380,000 it costs to place a McGrath Breast Care Nurse in an area of need for three years.  This year there will be six Miss Muddy events, which are expected to raise enough to place an incredible six McGrath Breast Care Nurses in areas where they are really needed!  With a number of the team here at Ray White Bayside knowing people who have lived with breast cancer, it is a cause close to our hearts and those of many people.

The Darwin Miss Muddy event is scheduled for Saturday 23rd July at the Hidden Valley Motor Complex and there are still spots for you to register.  You can register right now by visiting:  http://www.missmuddy.com.au/locations/ and selecting the Darwin location.

It’s a great opportunity for girls and women to get out and really have great fun for an amazing cause, so check it out and be a part of it!
