Experience a vibrant community village right here in Darwin!

By Korgan Hucent

It’s all possible thanks to an innovative and extremely exciting initiative of the Sanderson Neighbourhood Activity Centre (NAC) called Community Village.  Held on the first Saturday of every month during the Dry Season at Sanderson Middle School from 8am until 12pm, this event provides people with the opportunity to clean their home and garage…and turn their trash into somebody else’s treasure!

Now, everybody here at Ray White Bayside unanimously put their hand up when asked who enjoys a really good spring clean and even more so, the clutter-free results of that.  And likewise, we all love the sound of Community Village!  A place where you can come and sell your unwanted goods from the boot of your car, set up a stall or simply browse around!

In addition, NAC will be operating fun activities for all including:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Games
  • Cooking
  • Zumba demonstrations

Watch it all unfold or get involved and have some fun while you’re at it!  A unique celebration of community, unity, wellbeing and sustainability, it gets a thumbs up from all of us here at Ray White Bayside.  For more information you can visit the Sanderson NAC website at: https://sandersonnac.wordpress.com/ or by visiting the Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/SandersonNAC/.
