Come and join the fun of the Carlton Mid Darwin Cup Carnival on Saturday 22nd July!

By Korgan Hucent

Darwinites rejoice!  The annual Carlton Mid Darwin Cup – 2017 Ladbrokes Derby Day is nearly upon us yet again. On Saturday, the 22nd July, fashionistas will descend in their droves onto the Darwin Turf Club to enjoy a day of racing, glamour and good company. This event eases us in to racing season just in time for the main event which takes place on the 6th August. It is an event jam-packed with excitement and buzzing with atmosphere.

Top prize for the Ladbrokes Triple Crown is a cool $100,000 so the stakes are high. Not only are the horses there for the win, but there are fantastic prizes are up for grabs for the best dressed in the much sought-after Fashions on the Field!

The team at Ray White Bayside have our fascinators at the ready! While monochrome is a heavy feature of the day, we dare you to be bold! It is one of those events where fashion most definitely trumps function, so have fun with it!  Go and check your wardrobe out now and see if you’ve got the get up you need to possibly snag a best dressed award!  If not, there’s still time to go all out and grab yourself an amazing frock or suit or whatever takes your fancy!

The event is family friendly, with adult tickets costing $25 and children under 12 free. It is a licenced event, so alcohol and meals will be available on site.
