And you’ll find it at the newly opened The Quarter at Casuarina Square. For the uninitiated, Max Brenner, aka Chocolate by the Bald Man is a cafe dedicated exclusively to, you guessed it, chocolate! Everything from chocolate pastries, fondues and thickshakes – even chocolate pizza! The chocolate theme is all over this place, from the music through to the design of the cafe itself.
Many people in our team here at Ray White Bayside initially associated the brand with inner-Sydney, where the cute store at Paddington is almost always full. Contrary to popular opinion however, Max Brenner is a worldwide chocolate restaurant, with its brand headquartered in New York in the US of A.
Since opening their first store in Ra’anana in Israel (you thought it would be in America right?) in 1996, Max Fichtman and Oded Brenner combined their names to build the worldwide brand as we know it today. In Australia, there are approximately 38 stores across Australia, but we figure it’s a safe bet saying it’s 39 stores now, given the newly opened Casuarina one.
So here’s a sneak preview of what you can indulge in at the new Darwin store:
• Chocolate waffles and crepes
• Fondues (they’re back folks!)
• Ice creams
• Hot chocolate beverages
• Smoothies
• Chocolate martinis
And we have it on good authority to recommend the chocolate pizza!
Be sure to check out Max Brenner and the other amazing food outlets at the new and exciting Quarter at Casuarina Square. It’s unlike anything the Territory has seen before, but we think you’ll be impressed with what you discover!
