The Darwin Waterfront is a wonderfully vibrant haven of activity at the best of times, and that’s certainly going to be the case on Saturday 28th May from 4pm, when the venue plays host to the Darwin Waterfront Harmony Soiree. It’s an event to celebrate our thriving and successful multicultural community and the afternoon promises to be a whole lot of fun.
Planned for the event is plenty of food, entertainment and activities, including a memorable lattern making session which will conclude with the lanterns being placed into the water, to form part of the flotilla. Young and old can be a part of this special occasion and there will be plenty of opportunities for photos and of course, memories.
Harmony Day provides everybody with the chance to reflect on just how fortunate we are to live in a culturally rich and diverse community, where those from all nationalities and ethnicities can do well and really create amazing opportunities. We are all richer for living in such a tolerant and friendly society, and Harmony Day is all about celebrating the diversity and our commonly held values of community participation, respect, inclusion and a sense of belong for everybody.
The festival atmosphere of the Soiree is something you absolutely shouldn’t miss, and there will certainly be a few of the team at Ray White Bayside who will be there to enjoy the frivolities.
