The Travelling Film Festival is coming back to Darwin next month with a cool, interesting and chock-a-block program of nine featured movies and two short films. We are going to be treated with the best of Australian and world cinema! The BCC Darwin City Cinemas will be hosting the event from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th February.
The festival kicks off at 7pm on Thursday with Up For Love, a hilarious romantic French comedy about a couple trying to find love in a world of petty intolerance. Of course, the movie will have subtitles and as a celebration for the Opening night, complimentary drinks will be available after the movie – how great is that?! I think most of the Ray White Bayside team will be there on this night, as we do love a celebration after all!
Two movies will be shown on Friday from 6.30pm and three on both Saturday and Sunday – I told you it was chock-a-block! There are several options available for payment and viewing too, so whether you want to go to all the screenings, or just see the one that takes your fancy, there is an option for you all!
For the movie buffs wanting to go and see all nine movies, you can save 30% on regular ticket prices when you buy a full subscription for $81. That works out to only be $9 a movie, or $8 for concessions. Or you can buy a 5-Film-Flexipass for just $53 per adult – $10.60 per film, which works out to be just $9.60 for concessions. That’s a great option if you’re only interested in checking out a handful of movies. Alternatively, single movie passes cost just $14 per adult – bargain!
