That means a time for celebration and reflection on the year that was, and the exciting and promising year that is to come! At Ray White Bayside, quite a few of us love to check out the festive and exhilarating atmosphere that is the Darwin Waterfront on New Year’s Eve! Kicking off Sunday 31st December, gather your friends and family around to welcome in 2018! There will be a free outdoor concert and fireworks spectacular at 9pm and the big one at 12 midnight!
And you certainly are in for a treat with the incredible line-up of entertainers taking centre stage. There will be Mark Gable of The Choirboys, Jason Singh of Taxi Ride and Australian singer-songwriter Dean Ray. You’ll hear all the hits that go back some four decades! Supporting acts include locals Josh Wyatt and Mark Fredricks, as well as the DJ due Hello Bas & Von Lit, who are going to be the MC’s for the evening, keeping the crowds entertained and energised.
Singer-songwriter, Craig Phillips who hails from Toowoomba in Queensland, will also perform with classic alternative and country rock cover songs.
To complement the entertainment line-up will be free children’s entertainment earlier in the evening, including two Nick Jr.’s PAW Patrol ‘Ready for Action’ shows and a meet and greet, face glitters, balloon twisting and roving entertainment!
Crowds will be treated to two incredible fireworks spectaculars, each spanning 10-minutes and kicking off at 9pm and again at midnight.
Bring a picnic, a blanket, chairs and remember to keep the glass and alcohol at home. Eskies are permitted. You can also enjoy what’s on offer at the food and drink stalls, but be sure to make a reservation if you’re planning on eating at a restaurant.
Free parking is available from 4pm til midnight and it’s recommended you bring wet weather gear in case it rains! Undercover marquees will be there in case it gets wet, and as they say, the show will go on!
