A Real Christmas Treat this Year at St Marys Cathedral in the City

By Korgan Hucent
Earlier this year, our team at Ray White Bayside real estate had a fabulous time participating as stallholders at the St Mary’s Primary School Fete and excitement is in stall again thanks to a very special performance scheduled for 4.30pm on Sunday 13th December at St Mary’s Cathedral in the City.
It’s called, The Voice of Christmas and it will be a beautiful vocal performance bought to you by the Darwin Chorale. The concert is sure to be a hit with local Darwinites and visitors alike, thanks to the program created by Musical directors Nora Lewis AM and Michael Loughlin.
The audience will enjoy all the favourite Christmas tunes, and some not-so-familiar ones. Scheduled to be performed on the night will be Saint-Saens’ Christmas Oratorio, the Messiah Hallelujah Chorus and Corelli’s Christmas Concerto. New pieces such as Text Me Merry Christmas will also feature.
Other special guests will feature as part of the line-up, and there of course will be other entertaining items requiring the all-important audience participation.
We can expect the night to really go well, given the success that was Darwin Chorale’s 2015 Anzac Day musical tribute, The Armed Man and their concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar, which was also performed this year to a sell-out crowd at the Darwin Entertainment Centre.
Ticket prices are $20 per person, with child entry at just $10 for children aged 3-17 years.
Be a part of what really will be a special Christmas performance and visit http://www.yourcentre.com.au/#!/events/781/ for more information or to book your tickets.
