You’ve always wanted to do a triathlon, right? If so, then ‘Come & Tri’ this mini one!

By Korgan Hucent

New Year, New You! So, your resolutions are going well…you’re eating healthier and you’re getting in regular workouts. You’re already feeling fitter and stronger than ever before!  If so, why not put your fitness to the test for the Come & Tri Triathlon?

A few of us here at Ray White Bayside Real Estate have always wanted to do the ultimate fitness challenge – a triathlon! But who are we kidding?  That’s a lot of hard work!  Even so, a few of us are heading down to Lake Alexander at East Point Reserve to take part in this fabulous Australia Day Sports Carnival event.  It’s a mini triathlon comprising of a 150m swim, a 5km bike ride and a 1km run. It sounds so much more doable than a regular one, ay? And it’s bound to be heaps of fun too!

The event hosted by Darwin Triathlon Club, will be taking place on Sunday 29th January at 7am and will raise money for Cancer Council NT. Entry to the triathlon is only $25 and $20 of that will go to the charity! Get in shape, test yourselves, have fun AND raise money for an amazing cause. We have no excuses to be missing this one!

Everyone aged 16+ can enter the triathlon and entries close at 8pm on Friday 27th January. Check in opens at 6.10am on the day and closes at 6.45am sharp! So, don’t be late! This is going to be so much fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
