TWO WEEKS TO GO – Till the “World’s Greatest Shave”

By Korgan Hucent
With only 2 weeks to go until the “World’s Greatest Shave”, we would like to share a bit of information about the harsh reality of the cause. The World’s Greatest Shave is one of Australia’s biggest fundraisers. In March of each year more than 150,000 people will get sponsored to shave or colour their hair to support Australians with blood cancer and fund research.
And if shaving or colouring your hair doesn’t really appeal, you can even wax the hair on your head, chest or face and still get sponsored doing so, to help a great cause!  How easy is that?!
So why is it a good idea to get on board with this fun event?
Devastatingly each day of the year a whopping 34 Australians will be given the unbearable news that they have leukaemia, lymphoma, or myeloma and they’ll turn to the Leukaemia Foundation for help. Although survival rates are improving, blood cancers are the third biggest cause of cancer death in Australia. We here at Ray White Bayside urge you to gather your friends and family and get some sponsors together for this very worthy cause as The Leukaemia Foundation receives no ongoing government funding.  As such, they rely solely on the generosity of us, the general public of Australia. You can signup and gain further information on the website here at http://www.worldsgreatestshave.com.
