Time to convert your trash into somebody else’s treasure…as part of the Garage Sale Trail!

By Korgan Hucent

With over 10,000 garage sales and stalls happening across Australia at any one time, Garage Sale Trail is the mother of all garage sales! Powered by locals nationwide, it’s the best way to de-clutter and make a little pocket money, while being part of a huge community-spirited event. You never know what you may find either…one man’s trash is another man’s treasure as they say!  You may find your next upcycle project – an old dining suite or even a vintage television to turn into something quite unique.  The possibilities are endless, and that’s why this event is such a hit!

Having started in 2010 down at Bondi Beach in Sydney, as part of the Sizzle Festival, Garage Sale Trail has grown astronomically! It is now supported by over 150 councils and operates in five states, and our beloved Territory! On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October (a weekend long first for the event), you can register and join thousands of others in doing your bit to support the Garage Sale Trail Foundation in creating a positive social and environmental change. And of course, you could earn yourself some handy dosh and cool bargains in the process!

To register as a seller, please visit https://www.garagesaletrail.com.au/. The organisation has a goal of 350,000 Aussies to register their sale and so far, they are up to over 165,000 with three weeks still left to go! So, join the Ray White Bayside team and get registering to get your unwanted gear out just before the Wet!  Go through your home – inside and out – and see just how much stuff you really have, which you can convert to cold hard cash!  Do that, and de-clutter along the way – you can’t go wrong!

So be sure to check this awesome event out and come be a part of the fun!
