Sunday 19th June is a Special Day…but do you know why?

By Korgan Hucent

The team here at Ray White Bayside real estate didn’t know this one until just recently either, but on Sunday 19th June is the United Nations International Day of…Yoga! It’s a day where people all over the world will celebrate yoga and the many health and wellbeing benefits it can help create. From fun yoga asana classes and deep relaxation, to exciting kid’s games, live music and deep peace meditation, this free community event is sure to really bliss you out and prepare you for the new week, in a relaxing and peaceful way. It’s all going to happen at the picturesque Nightcliff Foreshore and will run from 2pm up until 7pm. Some of the exciting events on the afternoon/evening will include: • The Lotus Lounge: It’s sure to be as relaxing as it sounds. Chill out on a bean bag or perhaps a hammock…and treat yourself to a chai (iced or hot – up to you!) and possibly even a massage! • Little Yogis Space: Kids can paint a mandala or even have their faces painted. There will be fun yoga asana and meditation sessions and plenty of arts and crafts to get those creative juices flowing! • Gauranga Tent: Hear some of the stories of amazing yoga teachers who have had their lives transformed through yoga. They’ll share their insights and it will surely enlighten all who listen. • The Holistic Tent: Whether it’s an acro yoga or back bending workshop, you’re going to learn something beneficial here. You can even find the right food for your body type. More information will be released closer to the event date, regarding workshops that will be held. • Namaste Stage: Live music, mantras and more! Be entertained and enlightened! So on behalf of the Ray White Bayside real estate team, if you want to get your chill, bliss and peace on, be sure to make your way down to the Nightcliff Foreshore on Sunday 19th June! Because you never know what you might learn!
