Love your craft? Then this Sunday 10th July is YOUR day!

By Korgan Hucent

It’s all thanks to the Dragonfly Craft Fair, bought to you by Tactile Arts!  It’s all happening from 10am until 3pm this Sunday 10th July at the Museum Grounds and quite literally brings the quality of an art gallery, to the picturesque outdoors.  Experience for yourself arts and crafts by the water, and take in the wonderful weather that we’re currently enjoying here in Darwin’s dry!

Check out a huge array of local arts and crafts incorporating glass, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, homewares, t-shirts, clothing, handmade toys – you name it!  There quite literally is something for everybody, and you can choose to purchase or just come along to be amazed at the talent right here in Darwin and its surrounds.

Our local artists and artisans really get a great deal of encouragement by sharing their creations in an arena such as the Dragonfly Craft Fair, and with over 80 stallholders attending this year’s event, it’s sure to be a huge hit!

In addition to the arts and crafts available for you to check out, there will also be loads of food, tea, coffee, cake and ice-cream available, as well as plenty of musicians to really set the tone for this delightful event.  A Tactile Arts photo booth will also be there on the day, for you to capture some fun and crafty memories.

So be sure to wander down to the Museum Grounds this Sunday if arts and crafts are your thing, and enjoy the outdoors and relaxed atmosphere the Dragonfly Craft Fair is famous for!  For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/events/519670884895518/.

Entry is free and we know for a fact that a few of the team from Ray White Bayside will check the event out again!  Give us a wave if you happen to see us!
