When we discussed the concept of free movies for this kids this school holidays with those of us here at Ray White Bayside real estate who are parents, we couldn’t believe it would ever become a reality. Well the great people at City of Darwin Libraries have developed a program including exactly that: free movie screenings for kids at Karama and Casuarina Libraries!
To give you an idea of the films to be screened, on Thursday 7th January at 7pm, Karama Library will screen the hugely popular blockbuster, “Jurassic World”. Based on the original Jurassic Park, the film is set 22 years after the demise of the original park and focuses on the opening of the revamped park, under the name, “Jurassic World”. The re-opening centres around the exciting research conducted by the park’s scientists to genetically engineer a new breed of dinosaur. In true Jurassic style though, things go wrong and the proverbial hits the fan to create edge-of-your-seat thrills and spills.
Similarly, on Wednesday 20th January at 7pm, Casuarina Library screens, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. Telling the story of how the Ultron Program was designed to protect the world, the peace-keeping program becomes hostile and The Avengers must come together to take on the rogue program and save the world from extinction. Full of excitement and action, kids are sure to love this one!
Bookings are not essential for these screenings and a full line up of films to be screened at Casuarina and Karama libraries can be seen by visiting:
