Get down to East Point this Sunday 28th June to Watch the Fannie Bay Swim Classic

This year our office here at Ray White Bayside real estate, is proud to sponsor the   Darwin Surf Life Saving Club’s annual Fannie Bay Swim Classic!  It’s a fabulous event where the bravest and fittest swimmers this town has to offer, enter the water for either the 1.2km short course of 2.1km long course, with both events concluding at the Trailer Boat Club. Our very own Director, Korgan Hucent, will be participating in the long course.

Registrations have closed for this year, but the event always draws a crowd who provide participants with all the cheering needed to get them over the finish line.  Kicking off at 1pm, the race includes serious competitors vying for medal placings, and also fun participants who can use fins, snorkels, wetsuits and pull buoys.

Competitors enter the water at 1pm, with the short course starting at Lake Alexandra entrance and the long course starting at Pee Wee’s Restaurant park, finishing at the Trailer Boat Club.

The event has been running successfully in Darwin now for the last ten years, with all proceeds of the event going to the invaluable work undertaken by the Darwin Surf Life Saving Club.

So make sure you get down to the Trailer Boat Club this Sunday and enjoy the fabulous food and beverages on offer, while you cheer on the brave participants who dare to get wet during the Dry Season!  Who knows?  You may even rub shoulders with one of our team who can help you find your next property for rent or sale in the Fannie Bay and surrounding areas of Darwin!
