Fill your boots at Fannie Bay…and sample some really great food while you’re at it!

By Korgan Hucent

Fannie Bay is one of Darwin’s most popular spots. With the beautiful nature at East Point Reserve, some of the best restaurants in town, and of course, those amazing sunset views, it’s definitely a favourite place for locals and tourists alike.

With the Ski Club, Sailing Club and Trailer Boat Club all lined along the coastline, each with an array of delicious grub available, you’ll be spoilt for choice on what to eat while you enjoy front row seats to the famous Top End sunsets! Grab a pizza at the Trailer Boat Club, sample some of Darwin’s finest seafood at the Sailing Club, or kick back with a parmy at the Ski Club. The choices are endless! Head over to their websites for a peek at their menus.  You’ll find the Ski Club website at www.darwinskiclub.com.au, the Sailing Club website at www.dwnsail.com.au and the Trailer Boat Club website at www.dtbc.com.au.

There’s also Fannie Bay Cool Spot, which is open all day from 7am till 10pm. It’s a great place to catch breaky, lunch or dinner and is a regular (cool) spot for some of the team here at Ray White Bayside Real Estate. From breakfast eggs to a juicy Scotch Fillet steak, there’s a reason this successful family-run business has been around for so long!

And last but not least, we have to talk about Pee Wee’s At The Point! The hidden gem of Darwin in the most idyllic setting of them all, located inside the East Point Nature Reserve amongst the tropical palms with gorgeous sea views. Pee Wee’s has built a reputation for first-class food and service here in the Top End, and with a menu that aims to reflect the produce, climate and multiculturalism of the NT, it doesn’t disappoint! Visit their website to browse their unique menu and book a romantic meal for your special one!  You can find the website at www.peewees.com.au.

There’s so much to choose from, so you’re better off just trying them all hey? Happy feasting folks!
