Enjoy New Year’s Eve Aussie Outback Style…at the Waterfront!

By Korgan Hucent
Darwin’s Waterfront plays host to this city’s exciting and spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations, and this year, the line-up is sure to amaze and delight!  The theme as you probably guessed is the Aussie Outback, and the festivities kick off from 5pm on Thursday 31st December.
There will be two pyromusical fireworks displays on the night at 9pm and midnight, with the earlier display geared specifically to families.  From 5pm until the first fireworks display at 9pm, there will be family fun which will include an exciting Blinky Bill Show and meet and greet!  The Blinky Bill meet and greet alone is sure to be a hit with the die-hard fans of the childhood show, a few of whom are team members here at Ray White Bayside real estate.  Local live music and face painting will also feature during the family program.
From 9pm until midnight, hit performer Daryl Braithwaite will perform in a live and free concert, performing great Aussie rock songs including the smash hits, “The Horses”, “One Summer”, “As the Days Go By”, “Rise” and “Sugar Train.”  MC’ing this fantastic event will be local actor and artist Kamahi Djordon King, and Constantina Bush will be performing for the late show.
So come and be a part of what’s sure to be a fantastic event to welcome in the New Year!  We hope 2015 has been as fabulous for you as it has been for us here at Ray White Bayside real estate, and we wish you all a very happy and prosperous 2016!
