Enjoy a Fun Day at the Tropical Garden Fair!

By Korgan Hucent

Scheduled for this weekend on Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th of August at the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, The Tropical Garden Fair is a fun and exciting weekend that’s just perfect for the entire family to play a part in!

This year’s line-up is sure to be a hit with all of the Darwin green thumbs out there, with celebrity landscape designer Made Wijaya making an appearance.  Watch Made at work and be sure to check out the incredible large floral displays, packed with colour and gorgeous fragrances!

You can also get involved in garden workshops or just browse your way through the quirky and tropical plant stalls.  You may just find that stand out piece your garden has been waiting for, or perhaps something to bring an interior space to life?

Whilst the green thumbs are taken care of, so too are the kids who can take part in the garden-themed dress up parade, scheduled for 11am on Saturday.  Great prizes are up for grabs, but that’s not all.  Tinker Bell will also be making an appearance and hosting a spectacular tea party on Sunday at 11am!  There’s going to be some fabulous photo opportunities to be had with these activities!

As with all festivals, there will be an array of food and drink options to enjoy, as well as live music and of course, the Territory Made Markets where local artisans will display and sell their latest creations!  Pick up something special for yourself or just be inspired by what you see!

The Festival runs this Saturday and Sunday 13th and 14th August, from 10am until 4pm and a few of the Ray White Bayside team are going to check it out.  Feel free to give us a wave if you happen to spot us amongst the fun and frivolity that is The Tropical Garden Fair!
