East Point Reserve is Even Better with the Salty Plum Café!

By Korgan Hucent

Living in such an amazing tropical climate here in Darwin, we can all appreciate time outside so much more.  And with an ever-increasing number of pop up cafes and food vans appearing all over town, getting out and about has never been this fun.

One of the great pop up cafes that calls East Point Reserve its home is The Salty Plum Café, which operates at the Southern Coastal Car Park at East Point, Thursday through to Sunday from 7am until 10pm!  A number of our team here at Ray White Bayside real estate have experienced the great food and fabulous coffee on offer, and with the van located so close to our office, it’s always a treat to get out into the fresh air and duck down to the van!

From bacon and egg breakfasts, nutritious and tasty sandwiches, right through to hamburger and chip lunches, there’s such a variety of delicious food available, compliments of the friendly Salty Plum team!  Even if there’s a line up at the van, you won’t even believe you’re actually waiting, thanks to the wonderful surrounds provided by mother nature – there’s luscious tropical bushland on one side, and the beautiful Arafura Sea on the other, which hugs the coast line that makes our city the lovely city it is.

Once you’ve collected your order, take a seat on one of the comfy and quirky cushioned milk crate seats available, or pull up a bean bag – whatever you want!  Then just sit back, put your feet up and take in the amazing views that Darwin is famous for.
