Darwin Show Day is Coming Up!

By Korgan Hucent

If like plenty of our Ray White Bayside  real estate sales and rental clients, you’ve relocated to Darwin from southern cities like Sydney, you may have been disappointed to miss the Royal Easter Show, but thankfully you’re in luck!  That’s because the show is rolling into Darwin in just a few days’ time!  The Royal Darwin Show runs from Thursday 23rd July until Saturday 25th July and boasts a rich history here in the tropical city, with the 2015 show the 65th annual show held in Darwin.

All of the fun and attractions you associate with the show are on offer at the Royal Darwin Show, and because it’s hosted by The Royal Agricultural Society, you’re sure to get your share of shows and exhibits centring around our primary industry, mining and resources and of course, cultural activities.  All the ring events you love about the show, you’ll also enjoy this year!

And of course for big and little kids alike, all the thrills of side show alley are just waiting to be discovered!

To enjoy your day, make sure you dress comfortably with shoes suitable for the walking you’re sure to be doing during your visit!  When attending with young children, it’s a good idea to write mum or dad’s mobile telephone number on your child’s arm just in case they become lost.  Plenty of water is also a great recommendation to help you enjoy your day and get the most out of it.

The show opens its gates at the Darwin Showgrounds at 9am on each of the days it is open, and closes at 10pm.  A variety of ticket options are available and you can either pay at the ticket booth on the day, or you can purchase your pre-paid ticket by visiting:  http://www.darwinshow.com.au/pages/Pre-%252d-Paid-Entry-Tickets.html.  Have fun guys!
