Are you up for a free movie under the stars?

By Korgan Hucent

It really is the Dry Season now, with the beautiful cooler days and absence of serious humidity in the air!  We know all of us here at Ray White Bayside are absolutely loving it, and we’re sure you are too!   One of the best things about our gorgeous Dry Season has to be the free movies under the stars down at the Waterfront lawns!

On Saturday 24th June, there will be another free family movie shown on the big screen – the amazing, Trolls. Trolls is the animated tale of Poppy, the happiest Troll ever born, and the overly-cautious curmudgeonly Branch who set off on a journey to rescue their friends. Not just for the kids, this romantic musical comedy will have you laughing your heads off – it’s pretty awesome, even for the big kids at heart!

So head down to the lawns for the 7pm showing! Bring your blankets (not that you’ll need them to rug up here in the beautiful Top End!), camping chairs – whatever takes your fancy to allow you to relax and enjoy the movie. Make sure you head down early to secure a good spot too! What better way to spend a Dry Season evening with family and friends?

As always at the Waterfront, this is an alcohol and glass free event, but feel free to pack a picnic! We all love some goodies to snack on when we’re watching a movie after all. Alternatively, local businesses around the Waterfront will be hosting dinner specials, should you fancy eating out before the movie starts.

For more information on the event, please visit http://www.waterfront.nt.gov.au/events/. Let’s take full advantage of these amazing Darwin freebies and of course, the amazing weather experience that is the Dry Season!
