The annual Australia Day fun run is back on and set none other for Thursday 26th January! Celebrate our national day with the community down at Darwin Waterfront and get involved in the early morning fun run for an exciting and energising start to one of the best days of the year!
If you’ve not quite started the ‘New Year, New Me’ resolutions just yet, then this could be the event to give you that good and proper kick start! Run away the turkey and chocolates, along with hundreds of other Territorians down at the Darwin Convention Centre – start burning that holiday excess and get in shape for the rest of the year!
What’s better still, you can choose between a 2.5km or 5km run…or walk – depending on how many mince pies you ate over Christmas hey? The fun run is suitable for everyone!
Once you cross the finish line, celebrations will commence until 10am with a sausage sizzle, live music, prizes, water activities and face painting! All for free! Even if you don’t want to do the run, go along and cheer for the guys and still enjoy the free entertainment available.
