A taste of the big top is heading to Darwin from 12-13 August!

By Korgan Hucent

That’s right, and it’s all thanks to the Darwin Festival and of course Australia’s well-loved circus troupe, Circus Oz!  In case you’ve not heard of them, Circus Oz have been in the business of circustry (that’s a term we literally just coined here at Ray White Bayside – is that even a word?) for over 35 years and travelled the nation and the world many times, bringing to audiences all the breathtaking feats you expect to see at a circus – with serious fun and great Aussie humour to really add to it!

So as part of this year’s Darwin Festival, Circus Oz presents TWENTYSIXTEEN – a show featuring totally absurd Australian larrikins who really push the boundaries when it comes to defying the laws of physics.  Here’s what you can expect to see at the show:

  • Incredible, high-voltage acrobatics, bought to you by a highly experienced and enthusiastic team
  • Unbelievable aerial antics – just like you’d see under the big top
  • Loads of jaw-dropping, death-defying feats that will leave you amazed and pretty speechless

The team’s eclectic mix of incredible skills, crazy characterisation, hilarity, controlled chaos and amazing live music really epitomise a true celebration of everything that is circus, with some Aussie cheekiness as the icing on the cake!

It’s all going to be happening at the Darwin Entertainment Centre on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th August from 7.30pm.  An all-ages show, children are more than welcome and they are sure to love what they see!  Tickets are available online, with a full ticket priced at $48 per person, Concession $38 per person and a Family of 4 ticket for $140.
